Mitchell C. Schneider
Co-Founder and Chairman
Mitchell brings over 35 years of real estate development and legal expertise to Legacy Capital Partners. After practicing real estate law for approximately five years, Mitchell went on to found First Interstate Properties, Ltd., in Lyndhurst, Ohio. As the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, he directed the company’s growth into a full-service real estate development firm that developed over four million square feet of retail space. In May 2018, First Interstate completed One University Circle, a 20-story, 280-unit Class A for-rent residential development in Cleveland’s University Circle. In June 2020, First Interstate broke ground on its second multifamily development, 121 Larchmere, an 88-unit project in Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood, which completed construction in June 2021. Mitchell also serves as a Special Advisor to the Investment Committee for National Real Estate Advisors, a multi-billion-dollar real estate investment fund manager formerly known as the National Electricians Benefit Fund. Mitchell received his J.D. degree from The College of Law at The Ohio State University as well as a B.A. degree in International Political Economics, also from Ohio State. Mitchell has served as a Board Member for a number of philanthropic institutions locally and nationally including the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Siegal College, ORT America, and is the current Board Chair of the Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

David B. St. Pierre
Co-Founder and Executive Director
David has focused his entire 30-year career on the real estate debt and capital markets, primarily as an institutional real estate lender and investor on a national basis. He has worked with numerous developers and real estate professionals across the country to provide senior and mezzanine debt and equity capital from his current role with Legacy Capital Partners in addition to his previous management positions at KeyBank and Bank One. Prior to co-founding Legacy Capital Partners in 2004, he was a Senior Vice President and acquisition banker with KeyBank Real Estate Capital’s Private Equity Group. In this capacity, he actively identified, underwrote, structured and closed equity and mezzanine investments in a broad range of properties on a national basis. David received his B.A. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and his MBA degree from Cleveland State University. David currently serves as the Board Chair of the Greater Cleveland Film Commission.
